Miembros de MEGADETH, ANTHRAX, OVERKILL, STRYPER, LACUNA COIL y FOZZY son sólo algunos de los rockeros que envían su apoyo al líder de MEGADETH, Dave Mustaine, quien fue diagnosticado con cáncer de garganta ayer (17 de junio).
Tras revelar a través de las redes sociales su diagnóstico de cáncer, Mustaine aseguró que ya ha comenzado con el tratamiento que le han recomendado sus médicos, los cuales consideran que tiene una "tasa de éxito del 90%".
Como es de esperar, los conciertos programados de MEGADETH para 2019 han sido cancelados, excepto el crucero Megacruise que se llevará a cabo, según lo previsto, del 13 al 19 de octubre.
Mustaine perteneció a METALLICA durante dos años, de 1981 a 1983, hasta que fue despedido y reemplazado por el guitarrista Kirk Hammett. Después fundó MEGADETH.
