El grupo de metalcore ARCHITECTS ha publicado hoy el video de su tema "Death Is Not Defeat", single extraído de su nuevo disco "Holy Hell", publicado la semana pasada a través de Epitaph Records.
Después de publicar los videos de "Hereafter", "Royal Beggars" y "Modern Misery", la formación británica estrena hoy el video de "Death Is Not Defeat" (míralo al principio de la noticia), canción con una alta carga emocional provocada por el fallecimiento en 2016 del guitarrista del grupo Tom Searle después de una larga batalla contra el cáncer.
El hermano de Searle y batería de ARCHITECTS desde 2004, Dan Searle dijo lo siguiente:
"En esos primeros meses después de la muerte de Tom, no lo llevé nada bien en absoluto y me sentí muy infeliz y ansioso. Lo ignoraba y solo trataba de hacerle frente. Pero sabía que en algún momento tenía que aprender de ello".
"En última instancia, hubo dos opciones: sentir pena por ti mismo y creer que el mundo es un lugar horrible y dejar que te derrote. O dejar que te inspire a vivir la vida que Tom hubiera querido que viviéramos".
Por último, Searle añadió:
"Estaba muy preocupado de que la gente se llevara un mensaje desolador del álbum. Sentí un nivel de responsabilidad para proporcionar una luz al final del túnel para las personas que están pasando por experiencias terribles".
